
Rebecca Goodman is an Associate Clinical Social Worker who takes a humanistic and strengths-based approach to therapy, supporting clients in discovering their inner resilience and creating meaningful change in their lives. She earned her Master of Social Work from Cal State San Marcos, where she gained hands-on experience in crisis intervention and LGBTQ+ support through her work with the San Diego Rescue Mission and Stepping Stone of San Diego.
Rebecca has a strong interest in the mind-body connection and integrates somatic practices, music, and other creative approaches to help clients explore their emotions and express themselves more fully. She also draws from evidence-based modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to support emotional regulation, build coping skills, and foster psychological flexibility.
With a background in public administration and a strong commitment to social justice, she is passionate about working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and creating an inclusive, affirming space for healing.
In her free time, Rebecca enjoys surfing, practicing yoga, playing guitar, and hanging out with her cat, Finn.
